I found a coin that I believe to be Chinese in a box from my grandfather. I have searched and have not come up with much to identify it. Any help would be appreciated.

I see images in my books that it might be, but it is too worn.
It looks silver, is it really silver?
What is on the back side?
Based on your fingers, it looks huge.
What is the diameter?

Qian You Yuan Bao (western Xia dynassty-Tanguts), most of the time these comes in iron varieties, your doesn't look iron to me. The copper versions are rare and worth a lot of money if in good condition.
