Its from the Constantinian dynasty, probably Constantius II, but the legend has been annihilated so there is not much to go on. The length is correct for Constantius II. The reverse is FEL TEMP REPARATIO (Happy times are back, trying to pretend all is fine in the empire!). The design shows a roman soldier spearing a fallen horseman, who in this example is reaching back towards the soldier. Here, he might be bareheaded or with a ponytail. At the bottom reads SM** (Sacra moneta **), the mint mark. Looks like potentially SMN* (Nicomedia) or SMH (Heraclea).
These coins are very very common and are, unfortunately, almost worthless unless in good condition, except for their value as a historical artifact. This one might bring in 50c. Better to hold onto in my opinion, just for the novelty of having a 1700 year old coin.
