Don't know if this is correct location or not, please move if incorrect forum. Trying to help out a friend and identify some old and foreign coins for him. Only one side of this coin is readable. It is the size of a US quarter. The design resembles the Standing Liberty US Qt. but there is no date under liberty. Any ideas would be appreciated.

I doubt very much that is a coin.
There is no Country, date or denomination plus it is only stamped on one side. Probably a token or medallion.
You might get better results if this was in the Token, Medallion Forum.

Looks like someone tried to fake or modify a Standing Liberty quarter.

I would assume it is a piece pof play money, or perhaps a jewellry copy of a quarter intended to be used as a badge or brooch.

Given that it says "Libertad" instead of "Liberty", my assumption would be of Latin American origin.
