1847bill- I personally don't like how Anacs labeled the coin either and I'm not sure how the other grading companies do. But the problem with this wording is that it makes the coin seem like it's a generic struck through late stage die cap. I feel they should have used, struck through ROTATING late stage capped die but not sure if it's just because they can't fit that on the slab.
According to Mr. Mike Diamond,"rotated cap strikes and all other types of shifted cap strikes are worth more than a generic, late stage die cap."

Silver, good luck and let us know if you find trends for error strike and DDs. Some catalogs, very lights. Those trends are close to the specialized collectors and they do not publish, domage. So
in this case the public prices could be very speculative. This it is not a joke. I have 'it for one penny 1930 in exchange a Gaulden 1923 which was missing me. So work like this.

Thanks ghawk, I'm thinking the problem is classification for error coins is growing faster than the TPG can accommodate. I'm considering removing the coin because I feel the slab is down grading it.
