I picked these two up today with a friend of mine....one because I wanted to....and the other to prevent me from spending too much at my friend's wife b-day party later. please grade...I think the 27 may be a lil better than the 1928//..but let's see. I believe I made the right move with regards to the party. lol

For the average collector this design is very difficult to grade.

For theses common dates, it doesn't really matter since these are not MS and do not get a price premium whether they are XF or AU.

They look relatively spot free but hard to tell if they have been cleaned or not. I agree the 1927 looks a bit more original. I would love to see a close up of the 1927 reverse area where it says "2 1/2 dollars", if possible. Jimbucks is correct that these don't carry a premium at the mid grades. Really only at mid-MS is where they start to go up. I'd remove them from the holders and try to get clearer pics (because 2.5 indians are my favorite series and I always want to see more). =)

MS perhaps one day....but for now I'm just going to piece together an AU set minus the one big coin. Some shots outside the holder.
