That's actually my biggest issue with ICG, not that they overgrade, but that they occasionally straight grade details coins.

Considering this coin is almost 190 years old and overall is undamaged with decent eye appeal I have no problem with a straight grade as a VG10.

We've seen pieces stripped of their patina in top tier problem-free holders, I would not condemn ICG for putting this coin in a problem-free holder.

The cleaning is most visable on the eagle, but even then not much
