My name is Richard and I'm a new coin collector. I would like some I help with anyone's opinion of what kind of classification this error or errors are. It's a 1980 p Washington quarter. Thanks for your feedback.

Ok thank you. So I guess people try to make errors and that explains why I haven't been able to find another one like it. Back to hunting.

Yes, that is all just damage. It is only an error if it happens during the striking of the coin at the Mint. Anything that happens to it after that, such as your coin, is classed as damage. If you want to see learn about errors, just google error-ref.com
