I already have one of these in much nicer condition. However, it is such an interesting and rare type that when it appeared I had to have it.

Here is my new acquisition.

Vespasian. AR denarius. Rome. AD 73. 3.15 gr. - 18.9 mm.
Obv: IMP CAES VESP AVG CENS, laureate head right.
Rev: PONTIF MAXIM, Winged Nemesis standing right, holding caduceus over serpent and drawing out the neck of her robe.
RIC 544; BMCRE 97; RSC 385; Sear 2304. VF\XF
Purchased from Ars Coin Wien VCoins store March 26, 2019

@orfew, based on your descriptions, I was first thinking that the primary design difference was the order of the two word inscription on the rev, but now I see that the two coins are exactly the same. It is always nice to have doubles of great coins!. The new one is nice, but that first one in your collection is pretty amazing, both from a remaining detail and a provenance standpoint.

Thanks Ron.

@Spence-What I really like about these 2 coins is that both obverse and reverse dies are different. I think that is interesting when you consider how scarce this type is. Thanks for the kind words. The first one I acquired and the second one posted in the OP was a must buy when I saw it. I actually bought the NAC catalogue in which it appears. I like having the auction reference when there is one. I think it adds a little to the history of the coin.
