Hey Guys, This is new to me. At first I thought it was a Cud but I see that it's been struck. Abe's hair and Jacket lines are evident. Blank or Planchet error?

Not a Cud. Looks like Post Strike Damage ( PSD).

It looks to me like the copper layer has expanded out, retaining the design elements. Perhaps it's some sort of gas bubble? It seems way to big for that to be the case, but I don't know what else.

Hey Guys, Sorry it took so long to get back to you. The "thing" is metal and you can see Abe's hair and jacket lines so it was struck and and not post strike damage. It kind of looks like a second ear on top, kind of. Whatever it is, it goes up the back of the head a ways. So, whats the verdict?

It very much looks like a glob of adhesive, some sort of sticky foreign substance .Whatever it maybe to me it doesn't look like a Mint Error.
