I have a large Canadian coin collection and recently started looking through it.
I've came across a 1942 Canadian dime with a dot above the date. I've been looking if this dot is anything common with this coin but haven't found any with having a dot above the date.

Also found a 1961 Canadian dime with a dot on reverse directly below queen. Again haven't found anything online with this similarity.

Looking for any information.

I have lots of coins to still go through and boxes of Canadian Penny's to go through as well. I'm just starting to learn what to keep an eye out for .

Thanks

Such dots as these, that are not listed or barely listed, are the result of die chips and add no value to the coin.
