Hello all! I am a first timer, and trying to research this coin is what led me to this site in the first place. I am guessing this coin was minted on a Friday afternoon after a late Lunch? "GRATIA" shows the most errors, with a seemingly clogged "G" on the die. The first "A" seems to have been punched correctly originally, but then replaced with an upside down "V." The "I" appears to be an inverted "#1," and the second A looks to be a clean upside down "V."Not sure what is happening with the "0" in the "1870," plus there is evidence of double punching on some letters on both sides of the coin. Has anyone seen anything like this before?
