Hey folks,
This is only my second post here, and I am a complete newb when it comes to coin collecting. Any information would be helpful - especially the best technique on taking pictures.

Anywho, I found this 1964 Penny and was wondering if this was an error of any kind or damage done during it's travels.

What does the edge look like on the clipped area? It could be a Clipped Planchet.

With the pictures provided, the area does look like clip planchet. Was hoping to see the Blakeley effect.

And RuralChaos to CCF.

Advice on photos: The first two were a nice size but the last photo had a better back ground . For the edge shot try placing the coin between two stacks of coins 3-4 high.
