Tried taking the best pictures possible but definitely Doubling and compared from DDO listing off Variety Vista DDO-004 4-O-I-CCW...
Even though it's not the cleanest coin, hopefully from the photos it will show

Very difficult to tell for sure with these pics if it is DDO-003 or 004. I'm leaning towards 003 as mintmark location matches and I think I can see the die gouge in front of the arm.

First clue it is a doubled die? The mark on the 10:00 area of the '9' on the date: (Note white arrows)

Although this is a Denver mint coin, the first thing I looked at was the shape of the '9'. With that strange curve there, I knew it was a DDO, but not a match to any of these as the images above are of the Philly DDOs.
The second clue for me was the location of the mint mark:

It matches the 1972-D DD)-004 location. So it is a match to that. If this were a Philly coin, then you would have to look for the actually doubling to match, but the mint mark is a short cut on these Denver coins. Congratulations.

FINALLLLYYYYYYY I got one LOL.... Guys I surely appreciate the tips and guidance... Coop I pondered over posting forever, second, triple, and many more times of making the mistake of being wrong...
