Honestly looks like two different coin pictures side by side! I've never seen a crack that clean, thin, and straight but I guess its possible.

my eyes must be getting worse than I thought because I see nothing at all, maybe I need to get that appointment scheduled sooner than I thought

I don't think it's a die crack,to straight of a line, might be a lamination error or someone is messing with us.

IMHO, that straight line in an artifact in the JPEG, not on the coin.

No guys it rally is there and it seems to offset the 7. What doesn't show up and I can't seem to get it in the scan, is a line running from the edge of the coin up through the mintmark. I will try a photo rather than a scan and see if that helps.

sorry guys. Can't get any better pictures. Both lines were very difficult to pick up so they may be just extraneous scratches. The picture of the line through the 7 shows it better than I could see it under 10x magnification so it may be an angle issue creating a sort of optical illusion of offset Thanks for your input.
