To CCF , when you take photos of a coin and ask for grade or comment it is crucial to capture the correct color of the coin , but if it's not the right color then you must tell us so we don't pull our hair out trying to guess .
Now that said your Lincoln is circulated and looks porous .
Environmental damage .

Back in the 50's we'd break open thermometers and coat cents with the mercury. This is about what they looked like after that. To be young and stupid.

Wow! Thanks for all the great replies and thank you for being so welcoming! The color is causing a problem for me. Seems no matter how I take the pic I can't get the actual color! I really want the details to show but it always changes the color to almost silver when I zoom in. This coin is almost the color of a 2015 and up.
Also what is the best way to clean a coin without eating the surface up?
