I see how the picture I posted earlier was just Die Deterioration. This is a different nickel I looked at today and there appears to be something within the mintmark. Any thoughts?

Looks like a broken die post in the mintmark (Die Chip). I can also see heavy die flow and Die Deterioration. Not an RPM.
