Can anyone tell me the going rate for a complete 1921-35 bu set? My husband is looking at one for me. He is less knowledgable than I. If there is such a thing.

Someone asked me the following riddle last week:
Name a word that if you add an A at the beginning, it does not change the pronouciation, but it does change the meaning.
Your title provides me with the answer.

A decent UNC 34-S with any eye appeal will probably cost at least $2500, and maybe that much more for the rest of the set. It could also quickly jump to 5 figures for a set with all choice examples.

Holy cheese wiz, wow. Okay, that would be something that we would need a pro to check before we buy. This collections price is around 1500. I will see if he'll send me some pics. Thank you so much AES. Much appreciated

Saw an au-ms complete set listed at just over $3,000 on ebay. Doing the math on what the average cost per coin listed it appears a good deal. My personal thoughts are that buying a set someone else put together detracts from thrill of collecting. Just saying.
