1922 S Peace Machine Or Die Doubling?

livingwater Pillar of the Community United States 2284 Posts	Posted 04/27/2019 1:31 pm Thanks Coinfrog. I just noticed some doubling on LI and slight doubling on IN. I did an ebay search of Peace dollars, any year, using the words "doubling" "doubled" which found 370 listings. Some were double die with VAM numbers. For 1922-S specifically there were 13 listed. It seems Machine Doubling on Peace dollars is rather common and does not merit a VAM number. They're still fun to have. I also noticed on mine what looks like a rim Cud or lamination at end of eagle tail feathers? Edited by livingwater 04/27/2019 6:35 pm Report this Post to the Staff
