I am having a hard time telling the difference between large and smalldate for 1960 and 1982 Lincoln. Could be my eyesight could be I only have one type. Please help I've been holding on to those dates along with some other years that have this. Is there an easy way to tell?
Rest in Peace

On the 60, imagine a horizontal line across the top of the 1. The curl of the 9 is above on on the large date, even with it on the small.

Now imagine a vertical line on the right of the bowl of the 6. If the tail of the 6 touches it, it's large. If it doesn't reach, it's small.

You'll find a lot of 60DSD before you find a 60PSD.

Most people go to https://www.coppercoins.com where you can see great photos and examples of those. Also, since that web site is primarily a Lincoln Cent web site the moderators and web site owner can answer any questions about those pennies. The Red Book also has soem decent photos on pages 118 and 119 in the 2009 edition.
