On the 1977 Dollar there is a Rev. 002 die polishing short water lines and a Rev. oo4 Modified die Flat Island, short water lines. Water lines no problem.

Flat Island what am I looking for?

Canadian Coins shows Rev. 603 with a flat island and Rev. 004 with a flat island and I can't see the difference.

You are not the only one... Bill Cross refused to let me yank it out of the 67th edition (he was a bit stubborn with some things)... I don't have a 1977 "flat island" coins in my collection...

Thanks, if we could find a "flat island" what would we be looking at?

I honestly don't know... I either cannot see any difference, or it is too subtle to stick out at me...
