i have a 1941 french indochina 10 cent coin and was looking it up on this site: http://(131231) Not Allowed - Auto-Removed /values/Indochina.htm

it lists the 10 Cents (1939-1940) as km#21.1 value of about 2.00 then the 10 Cents (1941) as km#21.1a value of about 200.00

what makes the 1941 so valuble?

Sorry, but it isn't. That's an error on Don's site.

The difference between KM# 21.1 and KM# 21.1a is metal composition; the first is pure nickel (magnetic), the second is cupronickel (non-magnetic).

KM# 21.1 were struck in 1939 and 1940. KM# 21.1a were struck in 1939 and 1941; it's only the 1939 date of this variety that's listed as scarce in Krause. KM# 21.1a for 1941 catalogues the same as KM# 21.1, just a few dollars.
