Cant find this one in cudsoncoins. Some are similar but are total Cuds. Could this be one of those listed die breaks in early failure? Help appreciated. Thanks.

This isn't a Interior Die Break. It's called a Retained Cud. Nice find!

It's not a Cud since the piece of the die still existed.
It is a die crack which shows that the die was still complete BUT well on its way to that area breaking off.
After that is when that area would become a Cud.
And considering how wide that die crack is, Cud status wasn't far away.

Kanga, there's also another thing called a Retained Cud. A Retained Cud is when the piece has broken away, but it's still held in place by the die. There should be some displacement if it's a Retained Cud.
