Hey everyone, I have been lurking for a while and sorting a bag of nickels I had. Was curious if what I found is a near 6 and far 6 variety 1996 nickel? Images are below: (I hope) Near 6: Far 6:

You have both, another one to look out for is the 1977 High 77 and low 77. I have a few of the 1996 and the 1977 high and lows.

Thanks for the confirmation! I appear to have one 1977 in my bag, but it appears to be evenly spaced. I know none of these are very rare, but still kind of neat to find.

You can also get the 1996 attached.
The 1977 it is the last 7 that is higher or low to the other 7.

The attached 6 is actually what I was on the look-out for, only recently discovered that there are low and high varieties also, very cool. I assume this 1977 is a regular, "even" 7?

SPX- Even though the two 7s are almost even, that is known as a High 7. On the Low 7, the second 7 is lower than the first 7. It is the low seven that has more value.

Thanks for the photos 007, I think I have some green filter material laying around, going to experiment with that now that you mentioned it!
