Not an error coin. It's a badly damaged and mangled up coin unfortunately. You can see all of the hits, scratches and dings. It's Post Strike Damage ( PSD).

How does the coin get the multiple strike appearance? Thanks for your response

One way is to squeeze a couple coins together in a vice.

@Jrock85, there may be a little doubling of the columns in bays 5-7 on the rev, but I agree with @E&V that what you are calling a die cap error is all just damage. I agree that this looks like a vise job though as @tunnioc points out--you can see a little bit of the design transfer in front of Lincoln's face.
