I got this for less than $10. The pics were bad but in hand it is uncirculated with a tiny bit of luster left. What do y'all think?

Hi Will, This one is interesting. Looks more like an uncentered broadstrike than an off-center, but... There are a couple of small red flags here that this could be a counterfeit so don't rule that out too quickly. Many of the fakes that are out there are in roughly this condition, it looks like there is a full rim in places where there shouldn't be a rim, and things like the last T in TRUST and the 6 of the date look a little odd. Nothing leaping out at me, and certainly there are mis-strikes out there, but just can't quite be sure here.

Nice pick up. Personally I don't see LWCs off center as common as the LMCs. I'd say you nailed the 10% number too.

Thanks guys. I figured they were relatively rare because I don't see them much so I outbid the guy in the last couple minutes. Also TB, I've looked at the off center broadstrikes too, they're very similar. This one has the blakesley effect on LIBERTY and the motto.

The metal flow you are seeing on your coin is consistent with a genuine uncentered broadstrike, but please do not confuse that with Blakesley effect, which occurs on clipped planchets during the upsetting process.
