@coind, it is a little hard to examine sideways coins, but I understand that it takes a little getting used to posting pics here. Since you asked specifically about IGWT, I cropped, enhanced, and enlarged this section of your coin. I agree with @e&v that there is only damage.

Please zoom in on front of coin. Small 2 after the P. Various numbers around the date. There is a D after b in liberty. Between nose and edge, there are 2 4s,one upside down. On eagle side, deep crack from leg on down. And multiple numbers all over, zoom in on left wing.

What you are describing is impossible to happen during
the striking of the coin which is the only time an error can occur.
Put it down to Pareidolia. ( seeing something that isn't there)
