Tough to tell for sure from those pics but it looks like it is "unc" to me.
Some people find that the toning is appealing, too.

Quote: Tough to tell for sure from those pics WesternSky! How can I fix this? Do you need a closer photo? the sun is down so all I have to work with is the lights in my room, plus the light on my little camera here. I have also more detailed pictures of the obverse and reverse. I was trying not to make the thread so long. Regards Caleb

Caleb...
What we are seeing now is just all over the place. Top pic is dark, the 4th picture has a reddish pink tint. I think the 2nd and 3rd pics, along with the two bottom pics are more inline with what the coin probably looks like.
Hold off on shooting more pictures until you can use natural light. Just shoot an obverse shot and a reverse shot under the same lighting conditions. Maybe then your pictures will be more representive of what the coin actually looks like in hand.
Good luck!

The back is a totally different color than the front which does flaunt a odd appearing orangish, almost oil spill like coloring, will provide Reverse of said coin in its natural beauty. BRB

Not MS. AU55 with almost full luster.

Just under MS? Thanks for the input! I'm not sure what you mean exactly by luster, if possible do you think you can show me exactly what you mean? Thanks for taking your time out and typing here. Much appreciated. Regards Caleb

I'd say MS-63, though pics don't give the best feel.

The obverse could be anywhere from AU to 63. The reverse "looks" solidly unc.
I just don't know. Sorry.

Pics with different lighting and angles will help.

not sure what lighting I can fix I think these photos best represent the coin. SilverDollar2017, is there a specific angle you would like to look at?
