Looks like a dropped letter to me. The "T" is the same as the "T" in LIBERTY.
Nice find.

Why does it look like part of a mirror image of TRUST.
I think I can see part of the S and U.
Is what I see Pareidolia ?
"Dipping" is not considered cleaning...

This is a mirrored coin I took it to a local coin dealer showed him he advised me to return in may to pick up tickets for the convention they are having in June I believe in long beachch he wants me to take it to someone he knows. I appolagize if I speak out of place but I posted the same coin a while back someone had replied on here saying it holds no value because of the damage I kept it either way this was found in countless coins I have looked at given to me by various family members coin jars. Anything I post on here is no way fabricated an anyway. Thanks for all the replys

The T is nicely formed, but just a little to the right I see what looks like the top of a reversed S, and the a little further right what looks like part of a U. I think it is just post strike damage.

Because the affected area is the tallest design on the coin.

Interesting. Still a fun find for the education alone.
