The seller is knowingly selling this fake:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/1912-CHINA....m1438.l2649This coin has been returned several times already and one of the purchasers left positive feedback stating coin was a fake.
I had a lengthy dialogue with him a bit ago and he's a slippery type. Here is our exchange (read from bottom up):
prfct70: We are done here.
Go away.
Your previous message These pictures are terribly blurry. There is no way your camera is unable to take better pictures.
All your other listings offer crystal clear images, so there is clearly nothing wrong with your camera or your picture taking abilities. I can only assume that you are trying to intentionally blur out the images which enforces my belief that this coin is a forgery inside a fake PCGS slab and you are very well aware of it.
My suggestion to you is to stop playing games and remove this listing.
prfct70: This is the best my camera do.
Hope it help.
Thanks for your interest.
Your previous message You say you bought it on
ebay. When was this and how much did you pay for it? Here is the coin you are selling by the way:
https://auctions.stacksbowers.com/l...view/1-1E2VJIt sold for nearly 6K in April 2015. Please send me cleaner pictures so that I can take a better look at your example. I'm quite certain your is not the authentic piece.
prfct70: I'll take more picture and send to you if you wish and asap.
I said 3 buyers bought it three but did not complete the transaction, mean they did not pay, transaction canceled.
It seem maliciously they were fishing for information or had a change of heart.
So read the description carefully,
I do not cancel anymore nor takes return.
All the information I have about the coin is there.
I don't want bad feeling on either side.
That is why I say I don't know if the coin is a reproduction.
Your previous message I'm really struggling here... you seem to be a credible seller but nothing about this listing is credible.
1. You cannot provide better images (even the lousiest of phones today can take a cleaner image than what you have posted)
2. You say the item was returned by international buyers. OK but returned 3 times by 3 different buyers? Seems unlikely.
3. You are selling a 4K to 5K coin for 2k.
I am very familiar with this coin (and the corresponding PCGS certificate), and the coin you are selling is not it. So I can only assume this is a forgery in a fake holder. The question is are you knowingly or unknowingly selling a forgery as a legitimate coin.
prfct70: The date on the camera not set correct,
The pictures are the best I can get with it.
The item was not returned, the transaction was canceled,I had bunch of international buyer that are fishing for personal information and did not complete it.
Your previous message Hello,
I am interested in the coin. Can you please post clearer images? The images you have are dated to 2008? I see this coin has already been returned several times, can you please explain why?
