This is the largest die crack I've ever seen, and I thought it may be a Cud. Thanks in advance!

I am to new to this "DIE CRACK" stuff but guessing not a crack. If it is, it is the grand canyon of all cracks.
Would like to hear what the salty ones say.

Thanks. I'm not sure what it is. It would be a very nice crack if it was.

It's a Die Crack, since it's raised above the surfaces.

Btw, congratulations on a cool find!

Congratulations QuarterHoarder72.

Thanks Errers and Varietys. The crack just looks so squarish BUT is in spot where cracks happen more often.

I was searching the section, Unusual Die Cracks on U.S. Coins on the website Cuds-On-Coins.com and didn't find it.
But there were 2 that looked a little on the squarish side then petered out.
I can see it falling under the definition of DIE CRACK.
Back to the hunt!

A struck through a bristle, would be incuse if it fell off.
1966-LMC-Massive-Die-Crack-Cud?
It is a very strong die /crack/ (Word blocked out and changed to jerk which has no meaning in this discusstion) to a die break. Not a big premium item, but more of a novelty to show to another new collector.

I agree. Not worth slabbing. (But people do it anyway) Seems like as useless as buying an expensive car cover for a wrecked car.
Rest in Peace
