My only guess is the gash under the F in Frankfurt on the back is what caused the lower grade. There are also a couple small dings near the steeple. It's still my favorite coin, and I might re-send it to see if it could get higher. It's absolutely beautiful. Or at least a star designation. It definitely deserves something more.
