On my pic I posted it was not the doubling that I was asking about but the Cud or whatever it is on the first number.

I have one with an inner circle and outer circle (centered) on the face. It appears to have been in a circular motion when it was created.

It could be a contact mark on that field area. Seems to wide to be a die crack. If it were a die crack, it would rise above the field. If it were a die chip, then it would rise above the fields. A Die Cud affects the outer edge of a die:

So it that area is incuse, then it is a contact mark.
