When Did Specimen Coins Start Differing From PL Coins?

I've decided to get back into collecting and I'm really excited! No more price gouging NCLTs. I've decided to go back to basics and start a PL/SP/PR collection. I know early PL/SP collections are hard to distinguish but what year did SP start diverging from the PL in terms of radial lines starting to appear?! I opened random flips and just slotted them in because they looked pretty. Guess I have to restart this section.
