Another find CRH today. Nothing big and probably not a keeper for me, but an interesting find. I have never seen a die crack in this spot, and it seems like a low pressure area for the die to crack. It is raised above the surface and has the usual qualities of a die crack. No other Die breaks of any kind except for a die chip or two are found on this coin. Also, the obverse and reverse pictures would not upload no matter how many times I tried uploading new ones. Sorry about that! Thanks for taking a look.

If that's indeed a Die Crack, then it would be in one of the most unusual locations that I've ever seen. Very interesting!

Thanks E&V, that's what I thought! It is a Die crack I examined it a few times to be sure. Appreciate the response!

I wonder if the die was too brittle?

Possibly. Whatever the reason, it's a strange die crack for sure!

Looks more like a die gouge to me.

That's probably more accurate. Thanks for the help!
