GrapeCollects told me about this in a private email and I just want to share it on here for fun! Pictures are showned at the 1:52 minute mark. What a outstanding find! It's the real deal, no bolony!
Well here come all the machine doubled 1969-S again. Someone fans the embers and a flame appears with a lot of people thinking they hit it big with the MD examples. When I used to be able to see all the images on PCGS, they had over 100+ coins submitted that were MD normal coins. Made them a lot of money I'm sure.
Coop, yep! The amount of Machine Doubled coins sent to a TPG is pretty shocking. Luckily for the guy on the video, he beated the odds and it's the real deal.
Authentic 1969 S DDO, Yes. Found while CRH, impossible to say. It could have been, or it could also be a hoax. Show a picture of a genuine coins and just claim it was found CRH, no one can prove you didn't unless they can find an older picture of the exact same coin as a previously known piece.
I don't buy it. I watch coin roll hunting you tubers regularly. This guy us pretty new and I know he was trying to sell $30 rolls of quarters for searching which is pretty big for those types of coin roll hunter as their main source of income.
Basic idea is he gets a bunch of rolls from a bank, then people PayPal him money and IF a keeper coin comes up, they get it. He was selling W mint mark searches, $30 a roll and he searches and mails the person the coins if found. No guarantees.
They also do half dollars like that, $10 a roll through PayPal and they mail you the NIFCs or silvers if there are any as well as mark rolls for free 40% silvers and stuff so people don't feel like it's a total money scam (which to me it is I mean you can search your own rolls for face value and return the non-keepers).
Anyways I don't believe him or the others when they show rarities. He likey bought it and made the video saying he found it in the hopes of building a viewer base for more people to eventually "sell rolls" to so he doesn't have to get a real job.
