I found this coin a while back, and it looks to be in nice condition. I am told this year is quite collectible. Grading and comments would be appreciated.
because of the blurry photos, rotation of the coin and lighting I cant grade this piece. if you found this coin, congratulations! it is a better date. if you can post better photos in the correct rotation everyone will be able to give you a good assessment.
It is a better date , looks to be in EF-40/45 condition but the color is way off .Did you find it in the ground or sand ? It might wind up a details coin which would be a shame for an 1861 IHC in this sharp condition .
Thanks for the replies everyone. It was a dug coin, that I found metal detecting. I also dug a nice 1882 Canadian LC and a 1831 American LC that shows a little more ware from the same site. Pulled a 1909 Wheat cent as well, but no mint marks. The soil seems to have been very kind to the coins here, and I think the colour on the IHC is from the picture.. I'll try to post better ones.
