Good day CCF. The coin is back from PCGS. I am thinking about putting the coin up on ebay with a price that may not bring a sale... $10,000. I don't think there has been one up for sale to date. Thoughts anyone? Or maybe a trade... for a green monster (SAE). Edited by levelsofmadnes 04/22/2019 2:00 pm

Awesome coin! Definitely worth getting graded so that was a good one to spend the money on. Should bring a hefty price, just not sure about 10K.

That's an incredible coin! I can't even put a price on that one. Where did you get it?

Thanks QuarterHunter72 and CoinHunter27. QuarterHunter72, I think you are right about the price. I really don't want to sell it and that is why a high price. CoinHunter27, Where did I get it? My favorite box store... A BANK BOX. CRH EDIT: I have another post of this coin in the raw.... My actual first post on CCF.

Great find and congratulations on the grade! I would try selling it rather on HA or something like that. You are probably not going to be able to sell it for 10,000.

Coin blind, Remember that it is only thr zinc 1982 cents that are worth the money. Copper ones are only worth 1 cent. If you have zinc ones, please show us pictures as you will have a valuable find.

Thanks again Errers and Varietys. I have requested an appraisal from HA. Next, work on establishing an account with them.

Congrats levelsofmadness Reading this thread, it seems there is some confusion. Allow me to clarify for the record. 1982 Zinc cents are not rare and are worth 1 cent. 1982 copper cents are also not rare and are worth copper melt (technically but practically, will trade for 1 cent) This is a variety. It is a doubled die reverse. That is what gives it value. Sorry to burst the bubble of those who were counting their fortunes...

@BigSilver thank you for the unclear clarification! What is the error to look for, or maybe a link to view the error? I'm new to this and not sure where to find this info. No bubble bursting going on here, I count my fortunes in many other ways!
