I am thinking about putting the coin up on ebay with a price that may not bring a sale... $10,000. I don't think there has been one up for sale to date. Allow me to clarify for the record. 1982 Zinc cents are not rare and are worth 1 cent. 1982 copper cents are also not rare and are worth copper melt (technically but practically, will trade for 1 cent) This is a variety. It is a doubled die reverse. That is what gives it value. Sorry to burst the bubble of those who were counting their fortunes... Report this Post to the Staff
