I didn't know what I was seeing, so I gave it a 'tone bath.

I still cant make heads or tails. This certainly doesn't

look like the inverted variety, to me.

I can see some heavy Die Deterioration Doubling on the mintmark.

That's probably right. Can you show is close-ups of other lettering along the rim?
