dbrablec Pillar of the Community United States 1944 Posts	Posted 04/24/2019 4:06 pm here is a 1992P - which I believe might be the 1DR-001 listed on coppercoins site. I have looked at SO many of these (1992P). always hopeful that I might find the real deal. I happened to look at two 1992P's back to back, and was shocked at the difference in the size of the designers initials. I might be fooling myself - but under my (inexpensive) microscope - I believe I can see a slight separation ling also. hopefully some one could confirm - or reject my belief. thank you Edited by dbrablec 04/25/2019 10:06 am Report this Post to the Staff

The DDR has strong doubling from north to south with extra thickness, separation, and notches. I cannot see the separation or notches on your coin. There is some extra thickness, not nearly as strong as the DDR though, and it looks to be either die wear or circulation wear as the letters appear flattened. Report this Post to the Staff

Could you take another image what is more like the one on coppercoins? I can't get the images to match. More of a straight on image. If an image is tilted too much it distorts the image.
