Unidentified-Europe-Or-Crusader-Coin
This is a small thin billon or silver coin measuring 18mm and weighing 0.76 grams. One side has a short cross in the center with lettering CIVIT ? NIVUR ? (I think). The other side has a lis with a bar and 2 stars in the center with illegible (to me) lettering.
Anyone have any idea on this? Thanks in advance.

Can you make out any of the letters between the arms of the Cross? I see what looks like VYAM?

@n6, your first image is upside down, but I'm pretty sure that the inscription is actually +NIVERNIS CIVIT. That would make this a really nice 13th Century denier of the French County of Nevers. Here is a link to an inferior coin on numista:

You nailed it! I see that the first image is upside down and the legend is as you stated. To the first resopder, I now see the letters thanks to numisma "+M COMITISSA"
Thanks to both of you!
