I found this unattributed at an auction today. Apparently the RPD is relatively common and easy to cherrypick, but the shattered die is less common. It appears to have been cleaned, but I bought it anyway. I thought it was a fun find.

Any thoughts on grade?

1843 Varieties Link Here.

Quote:
Variety 102, the repunched 1843/1843 date
is popular and easily cherrypicked. Examples of Variety 102a, with the shattered reverse, will be challenging for collectors.

Nice pick @jadey! Sometimes problem coins are ok given the variety. I have a few myself with no regrets.
