Hey, I've found a toonie with deep spiral grooves on both sides. Just wondering if anyone has any info on this kind of error? I tried uploading a pic but was unsuccessful, I'll try again in a wile.

From your description I doubt very much it is an error as there is
no way that I can see that would happen during the striking of the
coin. Probably damage of some sort but if you could post pictures,
it would be easy to confirm.
