Here's another one of those fake Half Cents. This one is an 1802, but the dies that produced it look like they were also copied from the 1804 C6 like a couple of other's that have turned up on ebay lately. I think they must have made all of the dates. I wonder if we'll see an 1801 soon?

I wouldn't want it even if it were real.
I only accept older coins if they are in a PCGS or NGC slab.

OOPS I posted this on the wrong forum. Should have been on the US Classic variety forum. Can the moderators move it? Thanks.

They did.

They got the small size 2 right, but they seem to have forgotten the 0. The 0 on the 1802/0 is rather noticeable.

Looks like there are still traces of the spiked chin as well.

I took a look at his other offerings. He has an 1807 Half Cent for sale as well. It is also a fake. Same 1804 C-6 rev but the obv is not based on the 04 C-6.

Do you think they use an 1807 obverse for that one Condor101? I noticed there was no evidence of the spiked chin or tongue on that one, and the 7 looked right.

Thankfully, it looks like those two ebay listings have now been taken down.

No it isn't an 1807 obv either. The 180 is smaller than on the 1807 obv.

Phil310 is right on the 1800, rev of 04 C-6 and completely wrong rev style for 1800.
