Around here some places sell by weight.
Ought to be plenty available. IIRC, just four or five major countries would have had 3000 semi loads of non-Euro stuff turned in, and that's just coins worth less than a US nickel exchange rate.

In bulk you can usually get them for anywhere between $6-10 a pound.
Also that is based on a US address. You maybe able to find someone in Canada selling them.

WELCOME TO THE FORUM. Be real carefull doing that. Via the internet you may not receive what you pay for. Occationally people receive a bag of rocks and when attepting to do something about it they find the seller doesn't exist. Or you get a bag of dented, scratched, messed up coins rejected by counting machines. There is usually a good chance that regardless of what you get in the way of coins, they have been searched many, many times and what you get is all the I don't want coins.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that it hasn't happened, but why would the seller waste his time and money to send a pound of rocks? I suppose, people that do this are not the sharpest tools in the shed to begin with, but it doesn't make much cents. lol, cents.

I've always thought the same thing. WHY? Why send anything? Why not just take the money and run? Another example of this was the guy some years back that advertised all over the place that if you send him $1 he would send you a sure fire method of how to become a millionair. You sent him $1 and he would send you a piece of paper saying do as I'm doing. Why send anything at all? People are just people you know.

Quote: why would the seller waste his time and money to send a pound of rocks? Because he has proof, including a weight by the PO, that he sent you a package. You claim he sent rocks. Unless you opened it in front of a postal peep, prove what you claim. Once you take the box home and open it, you could put anything in it.

biggfredd, I had to use https://www.acronymfinder.com/IIRC.html to get a clue what IIRC might mean. Please don't get me wrong, I think this stuff is great. I have a lot to learn about more than just coins.
