I'm really new to the coin collecting community, but this coin was found inside the concrete wall wile redoing a bacement, unsure of its real yet

Very cool find. It looks like possibly a 1696 Bolivia 8 Reale. I can't find an exact match though. Hopefully the experts will be by soon to weigh in.

There are a couple of known counterfeits you can see on this site.

Search for #FC53662 and #FC53663.
