Just sittin and picking >>> NO not my nose lol and found this 2018 D with what looks like a Retained Cud Anyone seen one like this I have seen many with the die crack but first one like this for me. Thanks for your help.

That's not the right terminology. It would be called a Retained Interior Die Break. A Cud only involves the rim and some parts of the fields. This is what a real Cud looks like. http://goccf.com/t/331880#2839004

On the shield is a die crack, and on the obverse is DDD.
