Not too sure if the pictures are clear enough to use for "grading". I would also like your opinion on whether or not the toning is natural or not. Is there a better way to use the lighting to get the scratches that may or may not be on the coin?

The toning does not look like NT.As to showing scratches better,use a halogen light bulb.

Agree as well. Perhaps those "scratches" are brush lines?
