I hope I am posting this in the appropriate sub-forum. I am looking for a list of Master Hub numbers and the years they were used. I know I have seen one but I am unable to locate it through a search. The reason I ask is that I have the below LMC with no date or Liberty device. I am hoping to be able to narrow down the possible years by matching master hubs types.
Thanks in advance,
Chris

I shifted it to the variety and error sub-forum. Might do better here.

It appears to be Struck Through Grease, and a good one at that! It needs to be saved into a 2x2. http://www.error-ref.com/struck-thr...-grease-oil/

I narrowed it down to some date between 1974 and 1985 based on the forward leaning F in FG. Thanks you!

How about 1973? That year had the initials larger than any other year? (But the top of the 'F' looks too low)

A closer view of that area would be helpful. The strike was a lot stronger that year, so that may disqualify it? The peak of the top of the hair, might reveal it as a 1974 Large or small date? This coin has the Spock ears. 1970 and 1982 had them. 1982 Small date ended the Spock ears.

I can see the Spock ears. I, too, believe the top of the F is too low to be a 1973. I will try to get some better pictures of the initials and the top of the head tomorrow Thanks, Coop.
