Please help, I have found multiple scenarios like this in the last few days. Is this a Double Die or Machine Doubling?

Please give feedback on what you think.

I think it's just MD and some Damage. The split in the rim is called a Rim Fin I believe.Very common.

Hmmm, the MD vs. DD is very confusing. When I study pictures in CherryPickers Guide, these scenarios look the same or even stronger in some cases. Thank you.

Machine Doubling and a Rim Fin. Both are very common.
