I have yet to see anything rare "from Grandpa" on this forum that wasn't fake.

This is a Chinese fake. It was made using a die transfer of 1818 B-10 with the date altered to 1823. The right point of the second star should have a spine on it.

I see a lot of these fakes with so-called provenances. Since they have only been around 10-15 years, I think the majority of them are BS fantasies.
